Straightforward, simple, and succinct Thomas says little about his day to day life. Had his friend not asked for change, their situation would not have been apparent to city strangers. Dressed in a clean black coat, while listening to another friend play music on a free piano downtown, Thomas sat stoically. Young, creative, and mysterious, he didn’t give much weight to being homeless. “Living on the streets is like anything else I guess. Just a little harder.”  He usually sleeps in a camp shared with others.

 

Prized Possession: Rosie, his 18-month year old black lab. The beautiful one and a half year old black lab provides Thomas with consistency, love, and companionship. “She is always here, that is why she is my most valued.”
