CHARLES LEE BROWN

prized possession : jesus christ

“Man it’s hard,” Charles, the Denver native shares about his ten years  of living on the streets. The acceptance of his reality rested in his heavy eyes. He realized his battles, but recognized his discontentment. “I’m just trying to get of the streets man. Trying to stay off the drugs. Trying to be the best I am at what I do. It’s hard.” Pausing, Charles excuses himself for a short walk around the block to clear his head.

Prized Possession: Jesus Christ. After returning, Charles describes Jesus as his stable source of strength. “He teaches us to be strong. To stay off the drugs, to be a good person. Yes sir, he is my most valued.”
